2009 Estate Pinot Noir
This robust wine showcases the savory side of the versatile pinot noir grape with big, balanced flavors of soy sauce, truffles, dry earth, blackberries, and dried flowers on the palate. A long finish offers notes of barbecue smoke and charred meat. Ranked 15th best Oregon Pinot Noir by Portland Monthly
Aged 18 months in oak. 14.5% alcohol. |
 |
2007 Estate Pinot Noir
This wine has proven itself with customers who continue to reorder. Well-structured with good tannins, good acids and wonderful fruit. Dr. Jay Miller of The Wine Advocate (90 points) noted that this particular vintage will blossom and drink well through 2019. He called it "a fragrant perfume of smoke, earth, and cherry blossoms."
Aged 18 months in oak. 13.6% alcohol. |
 |
2011 Estate Pinot Gris
In this very cool year in the Willamette Valley the Pinot Gris excelled. Its acids and sugars balance perfectly. The color is the palest straw. The first taste explodes with flavors of peach, tropical fruites and a tiny bit of citrus. It is a wine perfectly matched for summer - to sip or to pair with salmon, gently spiced Asian foods or after dinner with a soft rich cheese and stone fruit.
Aged in steel. 11.6% alcohol. |
 |
2009 Estate Dry Riesling, Private Lumpkin
This Riesling tastes of honey, apricot and peach. Its strong acidity makes it go very well with spicy Asian foods, cheese fondue or a favorite omelet. It will provide a good counterpoint to the rich dishes served for Thanksgiving.
Aged in steel. 13.7% alcohol. |
